I had such a dream last night... in it, I was with my roommate from Texas making dinner when Emmy strolled around the corner wanting to play. I looked at Maria and asked her if she was seeing this or if I was hallucinating. She said nope, she sees it too. So I sat down and petted and cuddled Emmy. I said in the dream, "Either I'm losing my mind or this is the most realistic dream I've ever had."
I wasn't sad when I woke up. In that dream, both my girls were happily chasing a toy mouse, playing together, getting affection together... in a way that Emmy couldn't in her last days because she was so ill. She wasn't sick in my dream. I still miss her, but the aching sadness isn't as strong anymore. She came back to tell me that she's okay now, she's happy and whole again, and that I did the right thing by her. I love her so, so much...

Awww...Emmy came to visit you silver!! I'm so glad she did and that it brought you comfort. Still praying for Izzy today...

Izzy's test came back negative. 
Although I feel I should send a letter of apology to the vet's office for the fight Izzy put up. She was not parting with any of her blood quietly!
From her howls, you would have thought they were yanking her limbs off. Poor baby. All is well now, though, and she has lots of cuddles and treats to make up for the torture.
Vet wants to re-check in 3 months, and that's fine with me. For now, no more worries. Just healing.
