Kathy, I wish my welcome to you to this board wasn't in such sad circumstances! I agree with Traci; the bond between you and Z really was a gift. I wish we had the words to help ease the pain, but I don't think such words exist. It may help to know that you ARE among friends who understand how much it hurts; at least I hope it helps a little. The love the two of you shared was real and strong, and I don't think death takes that away.

It is never easy to let a friend go. But you are doing the right thing. I think that most of us here, understand just what you are going through and please know, that you are in my thoughts. Live in peace knowing that you have had such a wonderful friend.

Yes I do remember you and Z, Kathy, and I'm so terribly sorry the time for parting has come. Perhaps it will be of some comfort to know your courage has helped me put recent events of my own life in better perspective today... You are very much in my thoughts and I hope you stay in contact with this board; your example helps all of us, I believe. Take care!
