Traci, I'm very encouraged that our vet told me the cats will not be killed. I'm sure she was sincere about that. Her ideas about trying to place the cats are good ones, and I hope they get implemented.

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but my concern is that she will go back to her already very busy life and the cats will be "put on the back burner". (Besides her vet practice, she has a number of her own dogs, cats and horses.) Keep your fingers crossed...

That's why I still want to keep in touch with the ASPCA, in case a crisis arises and arrangements haven't been made for the cats yet.

Just keep after her, remind her of the "committments" she stated to you.

Hang in there, Sue, you're an angel for doing so much for the kiddens!
