This was the kitty in the vet right before I took our Cuddles in...it is a small clinic with only 1 exam room, so of course I knew what happened in there when the woman came out crying
She could not hold her kitty for that last moment, so the vet called one of the office girls in to help him and hold the kitty...
When the kitty was gone...she was placed back in her carrier, and the vet had draped a towel over her face and body...
the Mom was at the counter settling her bill, the vet came and told her how sorry he was, and said they knew it was time...that she had been on different medications for a while now (as the vet knew this anyways) and she was still losing weight and not responding to any treatment options they tried...and today she could not even get up from her own mess...so it was time for her Mom to bring her in and let her go...
