I'm so saddened to learn of your passing. I'm so sorry your family wasn't careful enough with you. I'm so sorry about the chaos that was in your life with your people and their demanding jobs, small children and busy schedules. Despite your elderly age and your CRF, you were a trooper, happy to just be scratched behind your ears and cuddled. I was happy to have known you for the short time I did and even more happy that you took kindly to me. If you were my furbaby, I would never let you outside no matter how much you begged. Knowing that you're petite body isn't as agile and quick as it once was, I would have checked, checked and checked again before backing out of the driveway. You were so undeserving of this, sweet Bedelia. I know you are in a better place but I'll still miss you.
Over the weekend, the owner of Bedelia left the house with her 3 small children knowing Bedelia walked out the back door with them. Figuring the cat just went off to the side of the yard, they proceeded to back out of the driveway not realizing this poor, fraile girl was under the front tire. I babysat for these people on a few occassions and never once did I park in their driveway for this very reason. Of course they are saddened but it doesn't excuse the carelessness.
Gentle journey sweet Bedelia

Aww, romp free, Bedelia. Makes me want to send them a link to "indoors only."
Re: Gentle journey sweet Bedelia
Cleo, I am so very sorry, how very tragic. Thank you for caring for and loving Bedelia, she probably knew more from you than her own owners.
Safe and gentle journey, sweet sweet Bedelia, you will be greatly missed...
