Cat Hoarse After Anesthesia

Hi,

My daughter took her cat to the vet to have its teeth cleaned last week.

When we brought her back, all she wanted to do was sit in a corner and hide. She did this for a couple of days. Also when she meows she is hoarse. Also hoarse when purring.
The vet seemed to think she would get better and that is was just where they gave her the anesthesia.

She has beenfeeling better every day, and playing some, but when she plays she starts coughing.
My daughter will take her back to the vet by this weekend if she isn't over this, but I thought I would see if anyone else had this problem.

I have had many cats but I have never had one to do this before.
She still is not feeling like herself.

I strongly recommend getting kitty seen TODAY. She could have an infection as a result of the intubation tube, this needs to be determined immediately.

If you or your daughter are not comfortable with the vet for any reason, see a new vet ASAP. Regardless, kitty needs a recheck immediately.
