Re: HELP!! FLEAS & PREGNANCY
I would suggest you contact your Vet for the appropriate action. Maybe all it will take is a phone call...
Do not give any OTC meds, as they can be harmful to even a non-pregnant animal.

Re: HELP!! FLEAS & PREGNANCY
If the two vets were large animal practitioners, you need to see a small animal vet, preferrably a feline-only vet.
Don't just call a vet, get your kitty examined immediately. If she has a heavy flea infestation, your vet can recommend the safest flea medication for her. He can also tell you how to treat the environment (i.e., vacumming frequently, etc). Never use any over-the-counter flea product on cats, they are ineffective and some of them are lethal to cats (this also includes flea shampoos, sprays and powders, and "natural products").
Since she is pregnant, the wise thing to do is get her examined so that your vet can determine her overall health status. If she is in early term of her pregnancy, she can be spayed. If she is in late term, I hope you are prepared for taking care of kittens and finding them good suitable homes.

Re: HELP!! FLEAS & PREGNANCY
A flea comb can help pick out what you can't get at or see.
