Anyone in the New York area?

Post by MA »

Woodside-Queens to be exact that might be available to take a very young kitten from a very overwhelmed child that found it? If so would you email me please at maryanne@meowhoo.com I suspect the kitten to be under a month old and quite sick, and hampered by the child's inablility to move her parents to action to help it.

kate please let me know- this little girl is over her head in caring for this young kitten. Her parents do not want her to even have this little one, so a vet visit isn't even possible. :(

The kitten has been saved! Thanks to the folks behind www.savesamoa.org
Saved in the nick of time too. The kitten is less than 3 weeks old, a little tuxedo girl, very malnourished and sickly, but tested negative for all the kitty diseases out there. These people (bless their heart) paid for a pet taxi to go to the girl's home, pick up the kitten and take it to a 24 hr Vet Clinic. They are paying for all the care for it and will be picking it up on Monday- they live 5 hours away!

Bless the Internet for all the good it does people- I am always so amazed at what is accomplished through networking and knowing cat loving people!
