Crying and Chewing

Post by Tweeti »

My little one walks around crying like if he is lost but he was raised in the house has never been outside at all. I also notice that he bites on the blankets and starts pulling on them (i call it doing arobics) :-) and starts pawing it, i have seen this when they nurse from the mother, but he only dose it when he is on the bed, then also will cry several times and jump on my lap and start purring i rock him and he starts to nipple on my cloths and purring at the same time and burries his head in my under arm, he dose this in the morning he will come over and wakes me up starts trying to nipple again and falls asleep,, once again he burries his head,, Is This normal for them,, first time i raised a cat from birth ?? mommy needs to understand child :-)

Relax, he is being a kitten and is showing you his affection.

The constant mewing could be from boredom. Does he have enough toys and scratching posts, a kitty tree, etc to play with? Do you actively involve yourself in playing and exercising with him? Is he hungry? (kittens should be free-fed because they expend their energy throughout the day)

If you haven't had him checked by your vet since you've had him, now is the time to do so.
