I need advise on how to take care of albino kittens. In looking on line there does not seem to be much. I found 1 posting that was saying the fur may not be pure white and still be albino?
We had kittens about 1 week ago 1 is pure white - male, 1 is kind of a dirty creamy whitish gray - female, 2 pure black and a black with orange and white spots (not really calico, but sort of). Their eyes are just opening and the pure white one has obvious pink eyes. The dirty white one has dark eyes that have a redish pinkish tinge to them - almost like a dark red wine. Is it likely to have 2 albino kittens in 1 litter?
Also, is there special care needed?

Re: Albino kittens
First, get them to a reputable feline-only vet (who probably has more experience with albino kittens and adult cats), then if diagnosed exclusively as albino, discuss potential health issues such as photosensitivity (sensitivity to light) and possible immune-related problems. Not to scare you, but some true albinos do have immunological problems on occasion so it's best to get regular check-ups for an albino kitty.
The others who have pink tinges in the irises could actually have infections.....it could also be any number of things such as early respiratory infection, so best to get them all checked by your vet right away to ensure they are healthy.
