new kitten eats constantly and has very smelly poo!!

I adopted a 10 week old kitten from my local SPCA,we are taking him for a vet visit tomorrow,but was hoping to get some reassurance here first...this little guy is sooo playful!! He is very active,a lot of fun and a typical rambunctous kitty,but he eats and drinks like there is no tomorrow and he has 4 to 5 VERY smelly poos a day that are soft,but not runny and an odd multicolor....he acts very healthy,but I am concerned about him wanting to eat and drink so much and his stool freguency/consistency,could be some type of worms causing this??? Thanks!!!

beter get a check for parasites, especially protozoa types, coccidia etc.and soon....
