kitty help!
I have a male kitten, hand raised, that is 3 weeks old. Last night, when I gave him his last feeding for the night, he was acting strange, and slugish, he was crying while drinking, and very upset, for no reason. I put him down in his box that he sleeps in with his sister from the same litter. This morning I got her hout to feed her, and he was still asleep. I went over about 1 hour later to check on him, and he appeared still asleep, so I decided to wake him up to feed him. He was soaking wet, and lifeless, but still breathing. He could not hold his head up, his eyes were glazed over, it was as if he was dead. He could only move his lower region, he couldn't drink, his eyes had no response either. I took him to the bathroom, and rinsed him with water, rubbed him dry with the towel, he only made a few whimpers while getting a bath, then nothing after that. I force fed himi some milk, then I was afraid he was dehydrated, so I force fed him some water. I had to rub his throat to get that down. After he layed there for over an hour he started moving his front paws, and he could squint his eyes a little. Every hour I rubbed his neck to try and stimulate something, because he could not hold it up. After about 3 hours, he had life in his face, and was trying to hold his head up. After a total of about 6 hours, he was back to normal. I have no idea what could have happened, some ppl say it could have been a mild stroke, or a heat stroke. I was wondering if anyone could help with any ideas. There were no vets open here, and I wouldn't have had the money anyway, I was just hoping someone could shine some light on this for me.
