Do cats teeth?

My kitten is 9 months old and has started chewing on everything from shoes and kitty toys to table legs. His brother who is the same age does not exhibit this behavior. I'm concerned that all this chewing might damage the kitten's teeth. Please let me know what you think.

kitten should have "teethed" byut this point...check anbd see if there are any double teeth....but quite often this is just "growing up stuff"
