new kitten

i have two kittens. the first one (sir stuart) i got about a week ago. he is about 7-8 weeks old. the second one i got yesterday. he's 6 weeks old. i got him from a friend and he should be weened and everything. i am keeping him in the bathroom for now (the whole introduction thing), but he will not shut up. even if you are holding him he cries. so loudly that my roommate is threatening to throw him outside because she can't sleep and has finals coming. i've tried everything i can think of, even giving him milk thinking that he was not fully weened. why is he doing this and what can i do to make it stop. if i can't stop it, then i'll be forced to get rid of him.

if anyone has thoughts or suggestions please help.
