male calico cats?

hi, im new; im working on a paper on calico cats adn am focusing on male calico cats because they are so rare. i know there are some genetic defects with male calicos but not quite sure what they are. i was also wondering if they had any physical difficulties too....any information on male calico cat anyone has would help me out a great deal.thanks!
