Odd behavior

Post by athenajellicle »

Hello. My family is lucky enough to own two black, shorthaired kittens who are sisters, Soleil and Luna. They are very close; they will sleep together, groom each other, and play together.

Last night, we had to rush Soleil to the hospital because of a horrible reaction to a flea medicine. Luckily, she was discharged this morning and has fully recovered. But, since she came home, Luna has been acting strange around her. Luna hisses at her sister, and sometimes swipes. Could it be that the vet smell on Soleil is making Luna act this way? And if it is, will they return to their loving selves? What should I do? Thank you for your time.
