Kittens and asprin?Your help please!
This morning i woke up to find that my 11 week old seal point Siamese mix Kittens (boy-Huggs, Girl-Heavynn) had jumped on my nightstand and knocked over my case of excedrin asprin. I don't know if they injested the white pills or not. They are pretty big and would choke if swallowed I'm sure. However, i guess anything is possible and if anyone knows the sign to look for if they did eat asprin please respond. I was with them for a half hour before i went to work this morning, and they were themselves, playful, eating, drinking...looked like nothing wrong. Thanks in advance![/img]

Please put up all medications completely out of reach to your kittens....acetaminophen is toxic/lethal to cats (Tylenol, Excedrin, etc)....signs of toxicity include drooling, vomiting, nervousness or lethargy, blood in vomit or stools, fever, shock. If you feel there is even the slightest chance of ingestion, don't wait to get them to your vet for testing. (liver and kidney enzymes will be out of normal range as well as hematrocrit dangerously low)
