Kitty Is Constipated

Hello,My name is Will and I decided to go and seek out help.My gf's kitty is constipated,he tries to go to the bathroom for a long time but cant.Can anyone help?

Hi Will,

Depending on how long this is going on, the possibilities are constipation, hairballs or obstruction. Is there any behavioral changes? How is the kitty eating and drinking?

if this is a male cat, it could be far worse than constipation, ie urinary blockage..that is the typical sympton and is often confused with constipatiion......wait longer and it could be too late.
