my 1 yrs old kitten (thinks he's a tiger) has suddently gone off eating anything to do with fish. He has always refused to eat chicken so that only leaves him with Cat mince (mainly kangaroo) and his dried foods.
Is this detramental to his health?
food rejections
Re: food rejections
never even thought about pets eating Kangaroo, but then in the states we don't have very many of them running loose...i think no matter what your kitten eats, it is not a bad idea to always give at least on multi vitamine per day, no matter what you feed...i don't think yo have a problem other that a spoiled kitten who is trying to train you ......good luck
Re: food rejections
Well actually fish is not good for cats in large quantities anyway.
Can you purchase canned or dry kitten food? Cats needs the vitamins and essential things like taurine (must have for eye development).
These proper goods would enhance his growth and organ structure, and is a necessity for growing kittens.

Mona, HOneybun and Chloe [/quoteThanks Mona and friends. My cat has a varied diet of dried foods, fresh meat, dried fish, and special treats. I was just concerned that he may have required the fish for added vitamins...the fish we get is Dine, Wiskers and Home brand. He just won't eat any of them now...bad *beep*!!]
