Hi,my cat Jenny has a bald patch on her ear which is getting larger,it does not seem to be bothering her.
should I take her to the vets.
Any advice appreciated.

Any time there is fur loss in ANY area, should be checked by a vet, it could be anything from an allergic reaction to something (food or something in the environment), to flea allergy dermatitis, to bacterial infection, to skin allergy, the list goes on, and only a vet can determine what is going on by giving her a proper exam. Don't wait, it might be nothing, but it might be something needing treatment to prevent something worse, get her seen by your vet immediately.

Hi Traci,Thank you for your reply,I have now taken Jenny to the vets and the vet thinks it is a fungal infection so I have to put surolan on her ear for 2 weeks.
