Re: newly adopted kitten
kittens are naturally curious and eat just about anything so be sure to keep ANYTHING harmful out of her reach!!
make sure that the litter you are using is plain CLAY litter...NOT clumping litter....especially if she is tasting it, you do NOT want it clumping in her tummy/intestine and causing issues already....
has she seen the vet? Did you get the Frontline from your vet to make sure it is right for her size?
Has she been dewormed, by a vet? If so, this could cause some runny stools....if not...worms can cause runny stools....
Has she had her first series of booster shots? Again, if the vet gave these to her, she could have runny stools...
Any number of things can cause runniness.....my usual rule is....if I am not sure...off to the vet we go!
Keep us posted and let us know how she is adjusting!!

Re: newly adopted kitten
i have decided to take her a vet, my husband and i are very concerned because when we went to look at her the people would not let us in the house they brought the kittens out. "purrs" , that's her temp name, was the most healthy one out of the litter. the others look so sick. we are wondering what is going on there.
now "purrs" has a place where she's loved and she seems happy with us.

Re: newly adopted kitten
most definitely get her to a vet this morning and you know what....I would report that house to the vet and authorities as well...if they are neglecting/abusing animals then something has to be done!!
Thanks for taking her and giving her a new home....let us know what the vet says.....
and as I said....I would call to get help for those you could not take either....I know we cannot bring them ALL into our own homes...but we can still call for help for them in other ways...get involved!!!
