please help I need advice

Hi,


I need advice I have a tabby cat that is 14 years old I have several animals he is strictly a indoor cat. He has started acting weird nothing in my home or with anything has changed. He meows at the wall sometimes he will meow for his food and I give it to him and he just acts like it is not there, also worst thing is he has started pooping and peeing outside his litter box.

The problem is I am on a very limited budget and donnot have the money to bring him to the vet to have alot of tests done. I dont know what to do. He is a big cat and male.

I am looking for any suggestions, part of me thinks mybe this is his time to go, but donnot know if a vet would put him down or even to go about it.

I dont mean to sound heartless, I am lost on what to do. I live in hunterdon county nj.

The only advice we can give is to get him a vet immediately....

we all understand limited funds as most of us live paycheck to paycheck as well....but your cat needs help....sudden refusal to use the litterbox is a desperate plea for help and he cannot speak....

Most vets will set up payment plans and take post dated checks.....
please get your kitty to your vet ASAP...

Unfortunately, only a VET can examine and do bloodwork and diagnose and treat your kitty. Doesn't your kitty deserve that? He's given you 14 years of undivided devotion, 14 years of unconditional love, you owe it to him to get him to your vet immediately for a proper exam, bloodwork and treatment.

Do NOT wait another minute on this, he's soley depending on you to do what's right, get him to a vet RIGHT THIS MINUTE! Ask your vet about payment arrangements (hold checks), whatever it takes, your kitty needs a vet's help!
