Help diagnose skin problem

My cat is 1 year old and seems quite healthy. He is an indoor cat. He has a dime size area on one ear that is losing its hair and has many tiny black specks in the bald spot. It does not seem to bother him. What is this and what is the treatment? Thanks

any thing would be a guess...could be mites, could be fungus, could be ring worm. the black specs could be fecal material from fleas, could be residue from ear mites, could be dirty sebaceous material...could be etc, etc, and more etc..get it checked cause if it is ring worm you may have to treat cat and your self...
