Three Vets but Dr Andra S. McKamey DVM is THE BEST. She is very knowledgable and so gentle with cats. They are a full service, cats only, medical center. Without the presence of dogs or other animals, there is less stress to the cat. Whenever I take my cats there, as soon as they hear Dr McKamey's voice their heads pop up out of the carrier. They know her voice and are just so relaxed with her. She really is the BEST.
They also provide boarding services.

Verde Veterinary Hospital
Cottonwood, AZ
there are probably about 4 vets and a decent sized staff, around 8-10 people on hand at any given time.
open weekdays at 8am to 5pm, saturday from 9am to 3pm (i think)
everyone there has been very caring and helpful whenever my g/f and i take one of our pets in. we have a 5.5 month old chihuahua that was bitten on the face by a full sized siberian husky about 6 weeks ago, the staff was excellent and referred us to a great specialist:

Aid Animal Dental Clinic
Scottsdale, AZ
2 well educated DVM's, a father/son clinic. the father has 3 or 4 sets of titles that follow his name  the ladies that work front desk and assist were great animal people, very friendly and caring. this doctor also does charity work for the city zoo, there are some great pictures on his walls.
they are open normal business hours on weekdays, but appointments are by referral only.
Dr. Visser was extremely nice and caring when we took our chihuahua to him. he even called us to follow up on how our pup was doing!

Bonanza Cat Hospital
7550 W. Lake Mead Blvd., Suite 1
Las Vegas, Nevada 89128

Mon - Fri 7:30am - 6:00pm, Sat 7:30am - 2:00pm

Cats only, one vet, unsure of the size of the staff although i've met at least three others that work in the front. Dr. Linda Steelman is fabulous, and truly loves cats. (she has more than 30 who love full time in the clinic, many of whom are geriatric cats that nobody wants to adopt.) she spends as much time with cat owners as needed to teach them what they need to know to care properly for their pets, including how to administer medication without losing fingers.

services include dentistry, standard exams, surgical procedures, bathing/grooming, boarding, emergency care, and geriatric care... she's great with older cats like ours.

she does not limit her own hours to the office hours, either. she has called me to check on my cat's progress as late as 8 pm, and once returned my call on a sunday afternoon.

also, her rates are below average for our area.
