HI Traci,

He's on glucosomine, CoQ10 with fish liver oil, and Vita-Drops. Yes, he's far from out of the woods, I know, so don't worry that I think he's miraculously cured. I just feel more hopeful now that he's in the care of a vet that's not so swamped!

Also, she wants me to mix a little bit of canned pumpkin in with all of my cats' food as she said it is good for the intestines and, among other things, helps with the hairball situation. That will be good news, especially with my long haired guy. Actually I had heard about this for people before (well, not the hairball part!), which is why it makes sense that we eat it after a feast. Hope it works. I don't think it will hurt. Actually I don't think any of her ideas will hurt, and who knows, they may really help. I'm still hopeful for a recovery.

Thanks Traci,
Kim

Hello again!

I tried posting before but it didn't complete so here goes again. Good news! Charlie's PCV is still going up. It was at 19.2 today. Still real low but it's progress!

His thyroid test result from Tuesday was also in and it's still low, which seems weird because he quit taking the tapazole around Jan 20. Well, at least it's not too high?

His vital signs are good too. Hopefully he is on the mend. He goes in again Monday. And oh yeah -- he's on glutamine, not glucosomine

All for now!
Kim :)
