 my much beloved cat Eartha-kit has just suffered a long and horrible death after i accidentally used dog-spot flea/tick drops on her(after being told by the pet shop it would be ok), there really shoulod a clear warning on the label of these vile products stating that the product is a CAT KILLER.

{{{carrie}}} I am sorry for the loss of your beloved cat...I have seen cats before where wrong drops, especially dog drops, were used...

I'm so sorry, Carrie... it's so tragic that there isn't better information out there for honest owners like yourself who have no way of knowing the dangers... and it's even more heartwrenching that you asked someone you trusted if it would be safe, and you were misled... *HUGS*

Carrie, I'm sorry for your loss.
However, there is a warning label on these products that state dog products are NOT to be used on cats. If the label didn't contain this warning, then you need to notify the manufacturer immediately.
Also talk to the pet store and tell them they need to stop telling pet owners that dog products for cats are ok, because they are NOT, and they are subject to legal action, don't let this slide, ask your vet for help in getting the pet store to act responsibly.
