Sammy continues to eat his prescribed dosage without us having to force feed him

he also has a interest now in other wet food, such as IAMS and things like that

he is back to eating full meals like normal

HOWEVER

he will ONLY eat wet food now and will not touch any semblance of dry food

I am not sure how to get dry food back into his eating patterns.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it just yet, as long as he is eating. However, you can mix the dry food in with the wet food and gradually add more dry and less wet and see if that works.
