I'm glad you found out what was wrong so quickly. Poor guy.....had problems with both "ports" so to speak
I hope Rocky gets better quickly. Sounds like you have a good "game plan".
See if that paper route has room for two will ya? LOL! I've spent over $600 on Tiger the past few weeks.

Maybe space it during the week....Friday, Tuesday, etc. The canned C/D can be given any time, and as long as vet suggested it, I'd go ahead and give him a bit each day for a few days combined with the laxatone and meds til you see noticable improvement.jason wrote:im thinking of starting a routine of laxatone on the weekends (keep hairballs moving) and canned food twice a week (keep stool from getting too hard). sound like an idea?
Hang in there, you're doing a wonderful job and Rocky knows it!

Re: rocky's fever
rocky is continuing to improve very well.....staying on lactulose and baytril (total of ten days prescribed).
he is pretty much back to his normal self....java is so thrilled.
now, instead of me trying to sleep with him on the couch....he is back to tucking me in for bed

Jason~
So glad to hear about Rocky!! Yes indeed do give him canned. What I do is to give Honeybun the canned each morning (just a couple of tbsps) and this helps to keep things moving. Twice a week the two girls get some Laxatone too (Chloe loves it LOL).
Keep up the good work.
