Hello, I am new to this site and I have a problem. My cat banana has always been an outdoor cat with her brother Johnny since they were babies (there 3 now) Well, about 6 months ago we sold our house and was waiting for new one to be built. We moved to an apartment and the cats had to go to a friend of mines house. Well, they were indoors for that whole six months. Well, except Johnny he got out about a month ago and we have not found him yet But I have Banana and I want her to go outside again, but am usure of the steps I should take to make sure she can find her way back home and so she doesn't get lost.
Please help me.
Thank you
Angie

The best thing you can do is just keep her inside - she doesn't need to go out. Most cats will be perfectly happy inside as long as you play with them and keep them entertained - and it's MUCH safer! Not only is there the risk of her running away, but all kinds of dangerous things in the out-of-doors like cars, poisons, etc.
She might not like staying inside all the time at first, but tell her it's for her own good. Okay?
I'm so sorry about Johnny, what have you tried so far to find him?

I have looked in all the shelters and they know to call me if he comes in.. You can't miss him he is big and fluffy and looks like the johnny cat.. I have posted pictures and posters up every where.. I have gone back to our old house and posted pictures there hoping he was just going home..
I wish I could leave Banana indoors, but my lil sister is allergic to her and she lives with me..
Thanks for your reply
