I just have one thought about the once a day feeding subject:

Ok. Tomorrow morning, get up and eat "enough" breakfast to last you through the entire day and til the next morning. :?

Think you'll know how much to eat to avoid feeling sick and yucky all day?

I tend to think of my kitties as little human beings in fur coats, and treat them as such. As such, they get breakfast, a late lunch (4 pm), and a late supper (10 or 11 pm). Of course, if they haven't finished the meal before, I don't bother filling the bowl. I just make sure they've had their "3/4-to-1 cup total" for the day. I guess you could call it a cross between scheduled feedings and free feeding.
