spay/neuter

Post by Guest »

Hi all. We are thinking of taking in a stray cat in our neighborhood. He will need to be neutered, treated for fleas, get all his shots, etc.... Problem is we are kinda low on cash at the moment...does anyone know of a place that does low cost on the above when you are taking in a stray? I live in Broward County, Florida.

Thanks!

Hi,

Check with your local Humane Society (I've posted a link below). I'm in Hillsborough County and our HS does a low cost spay/neuter clinic. They will also test and vaccinate. You also may want to check with different vets and see what they charge. Here are some links for you to check out. Do keep in mind if you take the cat in (and bless you for doing so!) that you will need to set aside a budget for cat care...it's always a good idea to have some savings for vet care and emergencies. Good luck! Let us know how things go
