stray cat had kittens in my car

a stray cat had kittens in my car. we moved the floor mat out to a box in the garage, with some other towels in it. that was 2 days ago. i got this morning to check on them and give the mama some food, and they were gone. a little later the mama had come out (from the car again) ate and drank wanted to pet, but just kinda followed me around. i looked all over for the kittens and can not find them anywhere.....please help

Please keep looking for them and when you find them you may want to consider bringing them inside and letting them stay in a spare room until they are weaned.
Mamas have a way of moving kittens from place to place, especially if they sense danger.

we have looked everywhere for the kittens and cannot find them, the momma is still around. i don't know what else to do she around so much i don't think she has left long enough to feed them. thanks for the reply!
