dry hard paws on kitten

I have a special needs kitten that has very dry, hard paws. She hardly has any pads at all. Can anyone tell me about this?

with out knowing the cause and whether a diagnosis is made you can safly rub Dr. aLegears Bag balm on two or three times a day ,,,,must be rubbed in real welll,,,but it might be good to get a diagnosis as to the cause....

Please describe the "special needs"...is kitten suffering from a neurological condition, primary disease, or??

You said dry, hard pads, and yet, hardly any pads left. Doesn't make sense. Only your vet can determine what is the source of the problem, please get your kitten evaluated by your vet immediately. If fungal or immunological for example, you might need to treat this agressively, may need advanced diagnostics so you know the exact source and cause of the problem in order to treat it most effectively.
