Cat won't move after bowel movement.

Post by mrbungle1975 »

My cat had a very smelly bowel movement this morning and went and sat in a semi hidden place. When I approached him he sat there for a minute and as I was petting him he moved to another spot and wouldn't move. He looked very upset in his face. Is this something I should be alarmed about or was it just a one time thing that will pass? I had to leave him to go to work but I'm worried.

If it were my cat, I would get a vet appointment to find out what happened...he seems to be in pain/distress of some sort and I personally would not wait...better safe than sorry...

Get kitty to the vet NOW. We're not a vet forum, only a vet can determine what's wrong with kitty by doing a complete exam. He could be partially constipated, obstructed, could have a GI infection, the possibilities are endless and only a vet can determine with a full exam.

DO NOT wait on this, better safe than sorry.
