I'm so sorry for your loss. When I commented to my daughter (age 26) about how gutwrenching the grieving process for Stoffie was and how shocked I was at how badly I was feeling, she put it into this perspective: "Mom, it doesn't matter whether you lose a pet or a person, your heart doesn't differentiate between the two and the grief is the same. You need to be kind to yourself and let the grieving process take its course." Sage words from one so young. I'm glad you have other furry comforters.
