I got a new kitten

Post by scorp »

I found a kitten on the side of the road and took it in, i took it to the vet and got its shots and some ear drops. this is the most docile cat i have ever seen, most kittens are curious and playful. this one is very much a lap cat all the time all she does is sleep and purr. is she ok?

the vet said she may run fever for a couple days because of the shots

She is probably worn out from her time outside. Give her a chance to adjust to her new world, and thank your lucky stars she isn't climbing your drapes, breaking your collectibles and running amuck like a regular kitten!

Assuming the vet did a complete check, tested for FeLV/FIV and such, it's probably as the others said, just tired and glad to be in a home. Some kittens are naturally more calm than others. Congrats!!

Max was the same way when I found him and now he goes thru spurts of energy but is a very lazy cat.

I think maybe its the stress of being a stray maybe....

not sure...

vet says my guy is very healthy!
