Thanks, Traci. I don't think they'd have to wait long for Casey to produce urine (unfortunately). I'll see if they'll collect it for me. I did it once, but they said the bacteria they saw in it was consistent with a non-sterile collection. Then she came down with a UTI? Dx'd by the emergency clinic which collected a sample themselves (non-invasive). Their way had to be more sterile than me doing it (and refrigerating until I could take it).

Well, if they waited for her to produce, then they collected it right away and tested, not having to risk it laying around exposed to air and temps.
