deshedding tool?

I got one of those from Ebay and I have a wide tooth comb and a narrow tooth comb too, so I tend to use all three when I groom my cats. I don't think the furmulator is anything special and there isn't much of a gap between the teeth, meaning the fur does fly all over the place!!
