Cats and human food

I'd just like to know if there is any human food that cats can eat without any health risks. My cat seems to take an interest when I start eating beef jerky, so I would like to know how well cats can digest it before I'm tempted to toss him a small piece. Thanks

Jerky is loaded with fat and salt, and also has the potential to break tiny teeth, please don't give this to your kitty.
