Watery eyes

My kitty who is 6-weeks old (maybe younger or older... last time we were at the vet, he thought she was 4-weeks old) -- she also got treated for worms and ear mites

Anyways... she got treated for a URI... && the vet said that the watery eyes she had was probably along with the URI... the vet gave us some amoxicillin... but weeks later, her eyes are still watery... but her URI seems to be gone... in fact her eyes seem to be every more watery than they were before... Any idea? Should i continue with the amxocillin?

I would suggest getting her back to the vet for a followup ASAP...kittens can go downhill fast, and I do not find it uncommon to have to do 2 or sometimes 3 courses of Clavamox or similar to really get rid of an infection...

Your vet needs to determine the type of URI, such as rhinotracheitis (herpes), calicivirus, chlamydia, etc. This is very important because if kitten does not respond to mild antibiotics, there could be another type of infection going on that would require a different antibiotic.

Get kitten back to your vet immediately for a new exam and to rule out other viruses, etc.
