I’m really glad you’re planning to take your kitty to a specialist! From your posts, it definitely sounds like your kitty has a vision problem because he response doesn’t increase with light and responds more to your voice and scent.
Some tips for between now and when you can get him to the specialist. Give him as much attention and love as you can. He’s probably so confused and disoriented and really needs your help and love right now!! Help guide him to food, water, and the litter box. Let him know if he makes a mistake that you understand and that it’s okay.
Making him feel safe and secure, and reinforcing your unconditional love for him will be a positive influence on his attitude and recovery. Don’t give up on this baby, he has a lot of love and life to share!!
Yowling!!!

nothing wrong with it, lots of boards out there.
no one is asking you to walk on eggshells, unless you have to in order to follow our rules.
instead of insinuating Traci's intentions for controlling you, how about appreciate the advice she gives freely concerning your cats health. you could show this appreciation by following the rules of the board.
this site helps animals all the time, it helps people some of the time as an effect. if you cant see it yet, this board keeps the health and happiness of animals at a very high standard.
i think you said it fairly well early, this board may not be for you....although your kitty would benifit.
on a last note for this topic (and user), the rules have been explained enough at this point....and we have understanding enough to know that if you do not follow them from this point on, you will be banned (not a threat, we just have limits to explaining ourselves).
we have been more the gracious in trying hard to explain our rules to you and keep the caring and valuable vet advice going your way for your honey and baby. its fair time you start respecting the admins and users here, whether it means you leave or stay and follow our rules.
if its a stated policy to you, just dont use it....our rules (either in stone or simply passed on) are not subject to disclaimers, just follow them.Anonymous wrote:You told me not to refrence "smacking". Re-read my post: it was a joke with j/k after it.
we all are familiar with those phrases and also know what they mean. this board strives hard to be very kind to animals...if it is too much for you to restrain, then the board is simply not for you.Anonymous wrote:You mean to tell me that you have never ever made statements to people around you while just kidding.
"Boy, I'm gonna smack you one!" - doesn't mean your gonna smack
"I could just die" - doesn't mean you plan on falling over dead!

you found a friendly bulletin board for loving cat and dog owners that has been around for quite sometime and has rules that many people not only agree with, but also fully support.Anonymous wrote:I thought I found a nice informative board to discuss concerns and talk about my pets. Instead, I've found this one person named Traci who makes me feel like I have to walk on eggshells around her.

you mean your not going to follow rules? then you decision has been made, you need to leave.Anonymous wrote: Well, I'm not gonna walk on eggshells to avoid upsetting you.

However, the people that come here aren't allowed to use a figure of speech nor are they allowed to ever say anything negative, nor are they ever allowed to get upset and anything in this world!

the only unfortunate thing here is that you are clearly aware of the rules that have been explained to you (after your initial poor choice in words on your "Somone Help" post) and are now being told again and instead of taking the notice here you are choosing to pick apart the nature at which this board is handled.Anonymous wrote:Unfortunately you'll end up scarring off many good, loving pet owners over time cause you were quick to judge. (over a figure of speech - give me a break!)
