Cat toilet problems..

hello
well to begin with my cat never really used the litter tray - ever. only once in a blue moon.
about a week ago, however she started using the litter tray every night to poo in.
today, she is constipated and can't go. she has tried a couple of times today and she tried to go in the litter tray this evening.
can anybody tell me whats wrong?

Please get your kitty seen by your vet immediately. We can't examine or diagnose your kitty, your vet needs to examine her to rule out constipation vs urinary tract infection, etc etc. If she is older than 7, get a full blood profile, urinalysis and thyroid function testing done for her.

Don't wait on this, get her seen ASAP.
