Grace in Heat

Post by Pat S. »

Grace is in heat. I'm planning to have her spayed as soon as the kits leave home, but that won't be for at least two more weeks. Maybe this will end in a few days?

How ironic life can be. On Thursday, I found her boyfriend with an abcessed paw and took him to the vet. He tested negative for all the deadly diseases, and I left him for his wound to be treated, shots, and neutering. Since he's an outside cat, they're boarding him for a few days to give him his antibiotics.

$384.00 for a cat I don't even like, and won't Grace be disappointed when Norman gets home and can't help her with her "condition"?

Sigh....my own cats will be soooooooooo glad to have me back again!

I keep telling her I know how she feels, but my sympathy doesn't help.
:(

How long will this "spell" last? I need to wait until she stops nursing the kittens to have her spayed, don't I?
