What should I do?

Post by lillyzdad »

I am a new cat owner. My cat is a female and I don't know how old she is but I don't believe she's too old. The problem I have is she is urinating in the corners in the rooms of my house. She is has no problems using the litterbox but she has started this new habit and still uses the litterbox. Why is she doing this and what can I do? Thanks for any help.

I would get the cat checked for a urinary tract infection and urinary crystals just to be sure. Inappropriate urination is one of the most common symptoms in these conditions, both which can be treated, and both which can be very dangerous to the cat's welfare. Then, if that's clear, it could be the type of litter you are using. Good luck, but please get kitty checked by a vet. kk
