Female Cats

Post by Xstitches »

I have two female cats about one year old, a black one and a pretty tabby-striped one (Bubba and Socks!). I am needing some help with my tabby-striped one. When she is in heat, she seems to like peeing in peculiar places. I've tried moving the litter box to where she is peeing, but that doesn't seem to work. Right now with taxes we don't have the money to get them fixed (probably will be in a year!), but would anyone have any suggestions in the meantime? It's spring and they just seem to be in heat all of the time!!

I suggest looking up info on Yahoo or another search engine about low cost or low income spay/neuters. They won't ever stop their heat cycles until they get fixed, even if they are just indoor cats and not around a male cat. Someone else might be able to help you with the peeing thing. But I would highly recommend that you look up the low cost and low income spay/neuters. I was in the same problem as you are with the money situation, and I was able to find a few different spay/neuter programs in my area. We applied for one and we just got approved yesterday. (Whoo hoo!) It's only going to cost us $5 per cat for the spays, and a $25 dollar 'donation' per cat for all of the vaccines.
