Need advice please!

Just in the last month or so, I have started to find many places where one of my cats is peeing. Today, I did a thorough cleaning and found TONS of places. Looks like they are backing up to things such as our speaker to our stereo and going. There are also runs on the walls behind the places. Here is my problem, with 5 cats, how in the world do I find out who is doing it?? My husband suggested that we put a few in the basement for a while and see if it continues, then we can narrow it down. All cats are spayed and neutered!! They range in age from 8 months to 5 years, HELP!

I have had this problem before but it was with 3 cats. What I did was put them in all seperate rooms with different boxes, and then you will find the ONE. Make sure you get the scent up as best you can cause they will always want to use the spots where they can pick up the scent. I hope I could help.

with 5 and not knowing which one, start with the one you suspect and confine that one with their own box and continue this till the spot stop showing up. take courtney333's advise directly if you have 5 rooms and 5 boxes, heh.

one of them might have uti so it's important to determine which one it is.
