Need help. Cat is sneezing and blood is coming out.

Hi. We just adopted a cat from the local SPCA. They told us he sneezed once in awhile. We brought him home and he sneezes alot and sometimes blood comes out. Wouldn't they notice this and why wouldn't there vet do something about it. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Shelters don't often have the necessary funds for proper vet care, hence, no care.

Get your kitty to your own vet immediately. The blood is probably from broken capillaries, but you need to find out the source, whether it is severe infection, congestion, or a foreign body embedded in the nasal cavities.
