I think he is about 10 months old, was fixed 4 months ago, has current shots, vaccines, etc.. He has been pretty energetic & playfull the 6 or 7 months I have had him, but for the last 48 hours, he has been slow, sluggish & feels warm, he has not eaten much either. in the last 24 hours, he did #2 once, and it was a small amount. he usually loves laxetone type medicine, but does not want it now. He will play, purr, & walk, but won't run. He lays on his side for hours, and just stares. He is not meowing much, and no abnormal sounds discharges or such. It just seems like the normal kitty but in very slow motion.
I think he is constipated or something? any opinions or tips? he seems to not want the laxetone, how long should I let this go on before a vet visit?
Thanks!
Sluggish kitten, feels warm too
Re: Sluggish kitten, feels warm too
Vet visit ASAP please, never take chances with a young kitten...lethargy, anorexia and possibly fever demand vet attention immediately.
