Thanks to all re - my kitty vomiting nightly

I called the vet and talked to him yesterday - he scheduled an appt for me tomorrow - but in the mean time suggested with-holding food for 24 hours - then start feeding him special easy to digest food (which I picked up yesterday from vet's office) - and adding acidopholis to the food - well I fed him this morning and so far so good.

I'll let you all know what happens.

Hope the food change is helping!!! By now you probably have had him at the vets. How did it go? Hope he doesn't have anything that is serious....pleae post back soon, ok?

Took him to the vet - x-ray and standard blood work showed nothing, neither did the clinical exam.

Vet's best guess - IBD - and currently he's got him on 1/2 a pepcid pill daily - along with special food.

results mixed...

Vet want's me to give it a week & see if overall we are better or worse - the hardest part is making sure that during meals he doesn't eat other kitty's food... (I have 4)

Anyway - trying to work it out - and we'll just have to see..

Hope the new diet helps and that you can keep him from the others food. Keep us posted with how it works out...got my fingers crossed for him!
