Cat Health Insurance

Does anyone have health insurance for their pet? What company do you go through and what do you recommend?

I used to have pet insurance for my cats from VPI (Veterinary Pet Insurance). It was about $150 a year for each cat (I have two), so that's about $300 a year. When I did make a claim on a $300 surgery, they only reimbursed my about $75. I pretty much cancelled them after that. Look them up online and see what they cover. If your cat has ANY prior illnesses, they won't cover them for that. They are like all insurance companies...they won't be in the business if they didn't make a huge profit.
